Privacy policy

What personal information Adelaide 10 handles, why, which providers help run the site and how to ask for access, a correction or to complain.

Who is responsible

Adelaide 10 (adelaide10.com) decides how the personal information described here is used. We handle it in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, as they apply to us. Anything about your information can go to info@adelaide10.com. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect, and why

Browsing the site: your IP address, browser and the pages you open, kept only so the site stays secure and working.

Writing to us: the message and the address it came from, so we can reply.

Running a business account: the email address you sign in with, the edits made to the listing and, for Pro or Top, billing records.

Please do not send us medical records, tax file numbers or identity documents. We do not need them and will delete them if they arrive.

No advertising, no tracking cookies

Adelaide 10 shows no advertising, runs no ad networks and uses no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. Cloudflare counts visits without placing anything on your device. The only cookie we use keeps a business owner signed in to their account, and the site needs it to do that job.

Who helps us

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site, counts visits without cookies and carries our email. Its Turnstile check makes sure our forms are filled in by people, not bots. Stripe collects payment for Pro and Top and holds the card details on its own systems, so they never reach us. The public never pays anything. Some of these providers process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

Visit logs: briefly, for security. Emails: until we have dealt with the matter. Business accounts: while the account is open. Billing records: for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask for the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email info@adelaide10.com and say what you need, and we will reply within a reasonable time. If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Children

The site is written for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If what we do with personal information changes, this page changes too, and the version shown here is the one in force.
