About Adelaide 10
Why Adelaide 10 exists, which Adelaide jobs its lists cover, how far they reach and what keeps it running without adverts.
Most Adelaide jobs arrive with a deadline attached. Settlement on a house in a fortnight, an aircon that quits in a heatwave, a child starting Reception next term. Adelaide 10 keeps a short list for each job, with the businesses for which it is everyday work at the front, so a couple of phone calls are enough.
What the lists cover
The jobs people in Adelaide actually look for. Roofers, plumbers, electricians, solar and batteries, builders, pergolas, pools and fencing. GPs, dentists, physiotherapists, psychologists and skin checks. Conveyancers, lawyers, migration agents, tax agents and mortgage brokers. Real estate agents, building and termite inspectors, removalists and skip bins. Mechanics, panel beaters and tyres. Vets, groomers and dog trainers. Childcare, tutors, music and swimming lessons, celebrants and wedding suppliers. More lists are on the way.
Adelaide and the suburbs around it
These lists serve the city and the suburbs around it, from Port Adelaide and Henley Beach to Glenelg, Marion and Brighton, east to Norwood and Unley, north to Prospect, Mawson Lakes and Modbury, and up into the foothills at Blackwood and Stirling. Places further out, such as Salisbury, Noarlunga and the Hills townships, fall outside them. Every address is on show, so a short drive is easy to tell from a long one.
What we don’t do
Adelaide 10 does no building, treats no patients and acts for no client. Nothing here is advice on health, law, money or building work. We book and quote nothing, and readers are never charged. Inspecting anyone’s work or checking every licence is not something we do, and a deal you strike is with the business alone.
Where the money comes from
The site has no advertising. Getting on a list costs nothing, and nothing buys a place either. A business that has been selected can then choose Pro, which adds phone, website and email buttons, social links, photos, prices and promotions to its page, or Top, a spot in the opening three on a list it is already part of. Both are labelled. The remaining businesses keep the places they earned. If something is wrong, or a business is missing, email info@adelaide10.com.
